Kirtland, Ohio, December 17, 2007 ~ January 25, 2008 - The Lakeland Community College Art Gallery proudly presents a group exhibition of new work by acclaimed artists Tracy Amenn, Lawrence Baker, Ronald D. Clayton, Devlin Culliver, Tericka Lynnette Henderson, Linda Herman, Chappelle Letman, J.M.Lyles III, Hilton P. Murray, Craig Sullivan, An’Angelia Thompson, Augustus Turner and Bob Walls. Assembling a compilation of collective unconscious visual arrangements of digital photography, painting, sculpture, illustration, enameling and mixed media exploring multicultural perceptions and expressions through visual documentation and interpretation.
Organized by Guest Curator, Julius Lyles, this exhibition includes over 70 new works in digital photography, painting, sculpture, illustration, enameling, ceramics and mixed media by emerging and professional artists.
Artists will be at The LCC Art Gallery to participate in a Meet and Greet Discussion, January 21, 2008 from 5 to 9 pm. Here’s an opportunity to be a part of this social gathering to celebrate the linage of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. – a forum where artist, diverse communities come together and discuss future solutions to racism, inequality, social dysfunction and prejudices.
